Have you every known someone who drove you fucking nuts but that there was also some sick sexual tension, some funky chemistry that also attracted you to that person??????
That whole moth to the flame thing........
Curious if you ever gave in and if so how was it??????

Hell no!
I'm ALL about personality. I'd much, MUCH rather get fucked by the most unattractive looking guy in the world but has a sweet personality, than get fucked by the best looking guy in the world but is an asshole.

Maybe I misunderstood this?! I thought it was someone you were attracted to with a good personality. One that drove you nuts and you had a lot of playful, sexually oriented, banter with. You know...sarcastic, foreplay-type, verbal volleys! I agree with you CPB on the personality issue, but that is what I thought Lil meant.

I'm not sure what Lilith meant now....
I guess the closest to what you thought, for me is guys and some masculine females who are my friends, have given me rough sex because they were angry with me. They have "fucked me in anger". I still enjoyed the sex, but I know very well that they were out to make my pussy/ass sore!
For me, I'm not like that. I hold no grudges, and I'm much too feminine regarding sex to take control and be that aggressive with anger.

I was talking about someone who both attracts and disgusts you......It has nothing to do with looks usually......It is a personality thing......... Like he might be an ass but there is something about his personality that still makes you drip. Maybe just me *shrugs*

Ok back to the Harry met Sally thing.....
Harry Burns: You realize of course that we could never be friends.
Sally Albright: Why not?
Harry Burns: What I'm saying is - and this is not a come-on in any way, shape or form - is that men and women can't be friends because the sex part always gets in the way.
Sally Albright: That's not true. I have a number of men friends and there is no sex involved.
Harry Burns: No you don't.
Sally Albright: Yes I do.
Harry Burns: No you don't.
Sally Albright: Yes I do.
Harry Burns: You only think you do.
Sally Albright: You say I'm having sex with these men without my knowledge?
Harry Burns: No, what I'm saying is they all WANT to have sex with you.
Sally Albright: They do not!
Harry Burns: Do too.
Sally Albright: They do not.
Harry Burns: Do too.
Sally Albright: How do you know?
Harry Burns: Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her.
Sally Albright: So, you're saying that a man can be friends with a woman he finds unattractive?
Harry Burns: No. You pretty much want to nail 'em too.
Sally Albright: What if THEY don't want to have sex with YOU?
Harry Burns: Doesn't matter because the sex thing is already out there so the friendship is ultimately doomed and that is the end of the story.
Sally Albright: Well, I guess we're not going to be friends then.

I dunno if this counts, but there was this girl in jr high, moved here halfway thru 7th grade from a nearby farm town, personality of a pit bull on meth, she had a chip...no, make that a fucking plank on her shoulder, she was miserable living in the "big city" & seemed intent on spreading that misery to all around...she & I never had a good word to say to each other, in fact had some very ugly words bouncing back & forth...I've been told that she & I once actually came to blows, I don't recall that but I can't deny it might have happened, it was that bad...
She doesn't remember it either, but agrees it could have....
5 years later we were dating, 2 years after that we got married...
So far I haven't been able to shake the bitch loose...did I say something about a pit bull?

Sounds like my high school girlfriend Julia,
We went out freshman year, but she dumped me for no discernable reason. Every six months or so, we would run into eachother and hook up. But I couldn't stand her for any long period of time. She was all about shoes/fashion/etc. and we would get into huge arguments all the time. We periodically got together for years. We tried going out, but it always wrecked in flames. In college it kept up for a long period of time, until we got to the point where we were able to actually carry on a conversation. Now, we are good friends, and haven't even so much as kissed for years. Hate builds passion? I don't know. . .

Oh I've defintely had that happen. His name was Devlin, and he was the rudest, meanest asshole in school. But I had a huge crush on him. No idea why, I hated him, he hated me...but we almost wound up sleeping together...the asshole got drunk and tried to tell me he loved me...thankfully I have better sense than that and told him to fuck off. ^.^ so thats my story. Boring ain't it?:D Ain't I a bitch?

Ok I would have to agree with booger they can drive you crazy if you work with them but if you give it a chance then you might like it. I am in the same boat as summer. But then again she is still married to hers and I ended up in divorce court after five years.

I worked with a girl like that one summer, got on everyone's nerves but was also sexually stimulating for me. Being a lifeguard I had the opportunity to lock up at nightsd after the pool closed, hence the many nights skinny dipping with various people. At the end of the summer before we all parted ways me and the nerve racking girl had a little rendezview in the pool, it wsa awesome, but I havent seen or heard from her sense (which is fine with me). i guess it was just one of those moments......

But they flirt like crazy.

Two of my best friends hated each other growing up. I remember having to break up many arguments where the insults were flying. We lived in a small (400 people) town so we were always hanging out together drinking beer and doing as little as possible. I moved away after high school and a few years later he told me they had hooked up one night after a party. I was absolutely stunned since I could remember him saying he wished she were dead and other mean things. These people really didn't like each other! Some 10 years later they are married with 2 kids. I still give them a hard time about it when I see them. I can't look at them without seeing the kids who hated each other. I have begun to see that the arguments they can still have are better than keeping it inside and getting bitter like so many people do. I think they've helped me be a more forthright person with my feelings. I haven't seen them in over a year. We're having a surprise party for his 30th birthday in a few weeks though so I advise everyone to buy stock in beer companies:)

I've kind of found myself in this situation with a good friend's boyfriend of 3 years...he can be such a jackass to me at times, but then next thing I know, he's flirting like crazy with me. Strangely enough, it is kind of fun I guess..he's flirting with disaster :o
This is one situation where I'll never give in to it.

I mentioned in another thread that I once dated a girl from England. She was very intellectual and had an interesting point of view on a lot of things -and because of that I was attracted to her. On the other hand, she was egotistical and insulting to most Americans.
Some times I'd get so tired of her insulting ways that I'd throw her on the floor, pull her shorts down and fuck the ever-loving shit out of her... which ended up turning us both on... which, in turn, perpetuated the whole love/hate thing. (this happened on more than one occasion)
Passion is what love and hate have in common.
