I think the deleted threads are unfortunate, but I have complete faith in our moderators and since they know the whole story I have no doubt they made the best OVERALL decision.

Regardless of what has happened here lately, and whether it was right or wrong.........we can't "fix" it or change things for the better if we all jump ship!!

I'm not happy with the way things have been handled and I've made my feelings known directly. But I'm NOT going anywhere!!
Pixie's is too important to me to give up on it without a fight!
Pixie's and the wonderful friends I've made here have helped me in many ways, both sexually and non-sexually. In all honesty, I really and truly don't know where I'd be right now were it not for all of them.
With very, very few exceptions, Pixie's is a fantastic site full of wonderful people! If you're thinking of leaving, PLEASEreconsider!! Let's not let it die!!!

I'm afraid Sugar's right Ironwood - leaving ain't the answer.

I know some people are unhappy with what's been going on, and I can understand why. But it isn't the dictatorial censorship you seem think it is, and in fairness our moderators do a great job here. Anything they do is done with the best interest of the members at heart, and I think we are all indebted to them for all they've done.

So go if you must, but remember you will always be welcome here should you return.

I have faith that all things done here by our moderators are done with all good intentions towards the Pixie site. I don't have all the information (and to be frank I wouldn't want it fore with it comes the responsibility of taking a stand or choosing sides). I just know that as this unfolds before us and we watch our friends leave, one by one, I am feeling rather heartsick!

If leaving is the only recourse one feels when faced with a decision that he/she doesn't agree with....then I think a sabbatical is a good idea. But you all know as well as I do.....once you have Pixies in your blood it will take a strong will to leave and NEVER look back!

Ironwood.........Please reconsider your decision. Talk to the moderator who removed your post. You have friends here that would hate to never see you again. Sure there is IM and email........but it's here where everyone gathers. You are a cog in this wheel known as Pixies.......as is all the other people who have decided to leave.......and this wheel is crumbling.

To leave may suggest defeat........and I know you are stronger than that! We can't all agree with everthing all of the time.....but we can make our thoughts known to those we disagree with. Why can't we just agree to disagree?

Apparently I need to clarify. My decision was based entirely on my own posts being removed without a word of explanation. It had nothing to do with what anyone else has done, or had done to them. There has still been no word from any moderator to me, so I see no reason to change my mind.

Obviously we are all sensitive individuals. And everyone has different needs.
The hard decisions that had been done hurt in this case your interests. I think nobody really intended this. I am convinced it was all done for the higher aim to serve Pixies and finally, in an indirect way also to serve you and me.
Try thinking for the community, and you will perhaps understand.
About the no feedback... I think this is nothing that couldn´t be fixed.

It's easy for people to say if your posts weren't deleted. If you understood why that's one thing, but if you honestly felt there was nothing wrong with it....I doubt if anyone would be pleased about it.

I can understand Ironwood being a bit PO'd at having his post/posts removed, AND having no reason given him by the Moderator(s) concerned; gotta say, I probably would be too!

I'm with aflyerfan also, in that I'm here most days, and I have NO clue what has been happening, with Ironwood or others, nor do I have any real wish to......

.... only other thing I'd like to add is, that we ALL offer a prayer to our personal God that the folk who left find it in themselves to try again, and that the rest of us get back to what Pixies is all about; and that is ..... FUN!
