IowaMan
03-25-2007, 02:54 AM

High fiber or high sugar cereal?
IowaMan
03-25-2007, 10:32 AM
That's not fair making me choose! I guess I'll go with fiber and take Basic 4, it's not too high in fiber and is just sweet enough.

Grapefruit juice
Shake or ice cream sundae?
IowaMan

bed head vs. wet hair in public?
IowaMan

Chinese (although my choice may vary from day to day)

Working for a living versus working on an advanced degree.
IowaMan
03-29-2007, 01:57 AM
I'm unfortunately doing neither right now but have done both in the past. I think I enjoyed working for a living a little bit more. My reasoning was that it was easier to leave the job at the office than to leave the studies on campus. The grad. school process was just too political for me to really enjoy once it got down to trying to please my thesis committee.
M*A*S*H characters: Frank Burns vs. Charles Emmerson Winchester III
dicksbro
03-29-2007, 04:41 AM
For a long time I would have said Frank Burns, but I really got to like Chalres Emmerson Winchester III. Actually, all the characters on M*A*S*H had their appeal.

Infomercials versus commercials
IowaMan
03-29-2007, 12:42 PM
Sometimes infomercials are a guilty pleasure. For some reason I really love the ones with the cutlery sets. Can't believe I haven't ordered Ron Popeil's set or the Miracle Blade ones. And then there's always the middle of the night "Girls Gone Wild" ones, that I've heard about but never actually seen. ;)

Alexander Vs. the new movie 300?
dicksbro
04-05-2007, 04:41 AM
Alexander, which I wasn't real thrilled with. I was terribly disappointed with the 300 thinking the substituted gore for a good script and story (but then, maybe my expectations were set too high).

IowaMan

As long as the weather is ok, I probably would rather go for a walk.

I love both but probably eat more tuna than salmon.
Flowers or green plants?
IowaMan
04-08-2007, 06:11 AM
Both have a really tough time trying to stay alive around me but I guess I will take flowers for right now just because they make me think of Spring and how maybe that kind of weather will actually come back pretty soon. :wish:
Spider Man vs. Batman
dicksbro

Probably over the long term, Batman, but I enjoy a bit of our friendly, neighborhood Spider Man, too.

Partners: Older or younger?
IowaMan
04-14-2007, 03:28 AM
Oooooh, that's an incredibly tough one Rabbit. I honestly can't say because everybody is so different. There can be a young person who is very mature or an older person who acts as though they are a kid. I guess to be safe I'd have to say a 10 year window to either direction. 10 years younger than me to 10 years older. Not to say I wouldn't gladly expand my horizons beyond those boundaries though.
Looking at erotic pictures vs. Reading erotic stories
dicksbro
04-14-2007, 06:20 AM
Both is the honest answer, but, since I'm in a hurry right now, I'll just look at the pictures. :)
Mowing the lawn vs playing smut games at Pixies-Place?
IowaMan
04-14-2007, 06:30 AM
Well, I don't want to wake the neighbors up by firing up the lawn mower. I think it may be too cold out later for me to be out mowing the lawn. The grass can probably go another week without being mowed. None of the neighbors have mowed theirs yet............... hmmmm, looks like I'm here for the duration. :D

Public versus privately held companies
dicksbro
04-24-2007, 05:24 AM
There was a time I would have said public, but I'm not so sure anymore. From what I've seen in recent years; concern for employee well-being is falling while the salary's and compensation for executives has sky-rocketed. Privately held companies aren't always good, but at least you really know who to blame. :(
