like chicken but I hate turkey.I also HATE parades!I think that it

I've seen tofurkey in stores but it's $40 and I'd be the only one eating it. Too pricey for me. I'll wait until I have kids and they can share in the feast.

On a serious note ...
... just want to thank all of you for being the great people that you are! I consider myself very lucky to have a wonderful wife; great kids; and friends like you. Truly a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Here's hoping yours will be a most special one.
Now ... please pass the turkey. :)

:D
A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude, and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious, and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music, and anything else he could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary.
No improvement. Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer.
The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said, "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions, and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."
John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued, "May I ask what the turkey did?"
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Copying from the other thread I started ...
HAPPY
THANKSGIVING
As the year nears it's end, with only a month to go,
Tis a time to give thanks for all we have and for all we know,
So as we give thanks here at out house, some special people come to mind,
Our Pixie family stands near the top of folks most good and kind,
As we sit round our table, sharing a meal made with such a fuss,
We'll remember each of you, our friends, and all you mean to us.
God Bless You All!

Thank you DB and may you enjoy this day as well. :)
This thread is certainly no reason not to have others that express the thoughts so much better. Actually, each year, I go looking for another thread when I was inflected with a fleeting moment of coherency about Thanksgiving, but can never find it. Your talent of expression is another thing all Pixies are thankful for today and throughout the year.
