I've got a tummy ache and some answers for Lixy.
I've Got a Loverly Bunch of Coconuts
I've got a loverly bunch of coconuts,
There they are, a-standing in a row;
Big ones, small ones, some as big as yer 'ead
Give 'em a twist, a flick of the wrist,
That's what the showman said.He said:
I've got a loverly bunch of coconuts;
Every ball I throw will make me rich
There stands me wife, the idol of my life,
Singing, Roll-a-bowl-a-ball-a-penny-a-pitch!
Singing, Roll-a-bowl-a-ball-a-penny-a-pitch!
Singing, Roll-a-bowl-a-ball-a-penny-a-pitch!
Roll-a-bowl-a-ball!Roll-a-bowl-a-ball!
Singing roll-a-bowl-a-ball-a-penny-a-pitch!
Don't know who sang it as it's a widely used/sung song. I know Danny Kaye did it too.

ROFLMFAO@Lilith!
That's it! That's the song.....though I don't remember Danny Kaye singing it cause I have this English accent stuck in my head! He could have though...sounds like something he'd sing!
Could I have heard it from "Oliver"??? I don't now what musical it was in....but I'm pretty sure it wasn't "Oaklahoma"!!!! LMAO!
Thanks Lil!

ROFL about sooo many answers here!!!
Cheyanne, I've always done the "Seinfeld" thing in hardware stores and the men don't like it. "Who needs a lawnmower with more horsepower than my car?"
I still don't recognize that song but, because of this thread I've got the "you put de lime in de coconut" song stuck in my head for DAYS AND DAYS!
Oh yes, I've got a beer and a quiet house

I've still got a sore throat, and two ice packs for DB. The head problem you'll have to handle on your own!
