TY for all the honest answers. It's very insightful to read them.

Just to clarify things...I wasn't asking because I am confused, depressed, hoping the end is near or looking for answers to edit or change my beliefs. Far to the contrary actually. It's just that I've experienced some things in my past that I couldn't explain here if I tried...but have made me aware of something other than this existence. What that something is I do not know.

Mom always taught me to never inflict my beliefs on anyone and to respect theirs as well. I try to live by that on a daily basis. I have never been one to not ask a question of others if I am curious. Some call it nosey. I call it scientific. Mom loved my curiousity!

However, like PF, I usually shy away from in depth conversations of this nature. And for the very same reasons he stated and/or so as not to ire "my friends". It can become a heavy topic really quick. Some people would prolly kill me (literally) for saying I didn't believe in some things they do. Others worry for my "soul". It's not for me to say don't worry. But I do wish they wouldn't kill me!

But, my scientific nature compelled me to put it out here. If curiousity killed the cat...thank goodness it has nine lives!

Hopefully it won't come back as a mouse in the next life.

Guess I missed this thread. Like Tess and WI, I'm also Christian and accept the reality of heaven and hell. I hope for the tranquility of heaven.
