--------->Gotcha'

Since Valentine's is a little more than a week away I thought I'd ask you guys and gals about the one's that you love or have loved.

Can you remember when it was or what it was about the person that made you realize that you LOVED them?

When cupid hit ya how hard did ya fall?

What is the longest you have loved someone? It can be someone you are with or someone you aren't with.

Fell in love at 13, almost can't remember who.

My ex-wife and I have been best friends for over 30 years.

We still love each other, just aren't in love.

Can't say when I fall in love, just know later it happened.

I have loved or cared for many people in my life, but this falling thing is a mystery to me...I've been deeply in lust many times as well...but falling truely falling in love like every human being should get to do at least once....hmmmm

I'm not so sure of the falling part, myself.

When you do realize, though, that you love someone...well, at least for me, I can't get that person out of my mind. I carry them with me at all times, my mind drifting back to them at various points during the day. I can't wait to share something funny or something sad or something anxiety-provoking...I want to share *everything* with them. It's when something happens and I say, "Gee, I wish *whoever* could be here to see this." I smile, thinking about time we've spent together, and I dream about time together in the future.

I have loved and cared for more than one person in my life...and I've been lucky enough to have truly loved someone not once, but twice. When that happens, you just know, and it's a feeling that's not easily shaken.

Very well said IAK....I couldn't say it better. I know for me when he has to leave i get a sick feeling, before he's even out the door i miss him.I wait for his phone call every morning at 6:45 even when he's left here at 5 .I love getting up and making him breakfast..cooking dinner when he's here because i know he appreciates it.Watching The Simpsons together or The WWE LOL.
I can't imagine not having him in my life.He makes me laugh,he makes me happy and he accepts the fact that i can be a bit crazy at times although i think i'm getting better with that lol

I'm with you, STO. I'm not sure about the falling part. It might be nice, but I don't know???? It's never happened. Oh well, maybe sometime, I guess we can't really control these things. Can we?

let see... first guy i seriously loved (who didnt love back) was in 11th grade.. and he was in 12th. he was my friend who i fell in love. so it was unrequited love and it sucked because i fell so hard for him and he didnt feel the same.

now i am in love iwth my bf (of 4 1/2 months) and he was actually the first to tell me he was falling for me... and then i realized i was too about how comfortable and loved and relaxed when i was with him and around him... and how good it felt to be in his arms and to be with him... and how much i could trust him and how much he showed that he cared... (swoons in love)

I thought I was in love last year----but to cut the story down---he mistreated me and manipulated the situation---I would have done anything for that guy--------but his loss!
I am scared to feel that deeply about anyone, the "loves" in my life are my kids,my family,my friends and the people I care for.
Last Oct I met a really sweet guy, who took things easy, and made me feel at ease straight away. I wasn't looking for anything "heavy" but felt attracted to him within weeks. I was scared to get too physical-----basically cause I thought that one of us would get hurt. Now I hurt when he's not with me!------so , as far as falling goes------I really did fight against it-----but guess there are just some things in life we have no controll over!
Haven't used the "L" word yet----------still scary and doesn't really convey my feelings enough----------but DM-----thank you sweetie!xxx

The first time I realized I was in love with a man .... I'd known him for nearly 10 years .... looked over at him putting on my frilly apron at a party at my place, at the same time he was telling a couple of people what to do ... acting like he owned the place and was in charge .... funny thing was, although I'd been to his place many times, this was only the 2nd time he'd been in mine ... no one else would have ever guess that from his behavior .... I looked over at him wearing that yellow gingham frilly apron and thought .... Oh my goodness I'm in love with him! and then I felt this warm glow spread through my body .... silly, I guess, but I'll never forget that moment .... I waited a long time for it ... I was 28 yrs old at the time.

Perfect description IAKG!

I love the saying....."Tis better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all"!

I "fell" in love at a very early age. Most people would have said it was puppy love, but I say it was my first true love. I was only 14 but I was rather mature for my age. He, on the other hand, never really matured. But I stayed with "my love" for 9 years!

My next relationship.......I think back now and I see I "fell in love" with the idea of being in love. It's like a drug and I had an addiction at the time. I was 24 and I think I would have fallen for a boulder if it had of even looked at me sideways. My choice was a very sweet man. To this day I have hardly anything bad to say about him. The one thing that made me realize I wasn't the woman for him, though, was........he really had little interest in sex. I thought it was because of me for the longest time, and so I tried to "stick it out" for eight long years! Come to find out.....it wasn't me.....it was all inside him. And that was his ONLY downfall!

Now, I was once bitten.....twice shy.....or twice bitten in my case! I follow the rules of baseball in the "three strikes, you're out" theory. I was oh so cautious as I ventured out into the world again. And, damn if I wasn't bitten again. We are in our 15th year now and way back when we hit our 9-10 year mark I told him, "Better be careful what you say and do from here on in. Think of it like this.......with my record, everyday from here on in could be your last day with me!" LMAO! I don't think hubby thought it was all that funny though!

WEEKS? It took WEEKS?!?!?!?!?! LOL!

Cupid struck at the first meeting....... but the hooks on his little arrow REALLY sank in after about a week!! I don't like the "L" word either; but I know what I feel for her, and it feels AWESOME!
I can honestly say, hand on heart, she is the best thing to happen to me in years!!
