The only thing that may get stolen around here is when you wear a short skirt and bend over in front of me, but you'll know when that happens.  LOL
The only thing I can mention is you can take a bit of comfort in that you are not bearing these hurts alone, hun. MIL has to know she made a major mistake and then there is the real thief that is also living with this.
