If you look at the price of coffee, you'll see a similar trend. Supply goes down, the price goes up. Supply picks up, no change in the price. Supply drops again, price goes up. And on, and on, and on. |
$3.69 this morning. Maybe they lost enough customers locally with the highest prices around they finally got self concious and have started down. :(
You assume a shame they probably don't have.
gas her dropped to $3.20
diesel is $4.09 |
There is no greener shade of envy than me at the moment, excepting perhaps DM.

Like JT, a bewildering $3.20/g (AU$0.81/L) showed up on Thursday from a staggering $4.00/g at the first of the month (when the mass pay checks go out) and has crept $3.50/g for the weekend. ............................ Because they CAN!
and OF & DM have even a bigger reason to be outraged at the sheer extortion. :ranting: |
Perhaps it's time to start re-manufacturing the first car in the world to do one hundred miles in one hour, the Stanley Steamer. Can we please borrow yours as a pattern, PantyFanatic?
$3.60/gal today
Back down to $2.95 after being $3.06 for holiday.
Still $3.06 here ... down from $3.09 just a couple of days ago.
I traveled in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi yesterday and saw prices between 3.09 and 3.45
$3.16 before my Kroger card.

Missed this at the time. At present, the cheapest petrol (gas) near me is £1.31 per litre, which equals £5.96 per UK gallon. Or $9.70 per UK gallon at todays online exchange rate! I have two cars, one of which is a 3-litre petrol (Subaru Legacy) the other is a 1.9-litre Alfa Romeo diesel. Diesel is currently £1.39/litre or £6.32/$10.30 per UK gallon. :( :box: Can't be bothered working out the price per US Gallon, but it's not good! DM Edit: Right, it bugged me, OK? ;) 1 UK gallon = 1.20095 US gallons, or 1 US gallon = 0.83267 UK gallon. So, petrol = $8.08/US Gallon, diesel = $8.58/US Gallon. I think I'll go for a lie down now …… DM |
WOW DM.... now my head even hurts!!! Thanks for figuring that all out but..... what was the question?
The question was, "Which well-known mouse pays $US5.00 per gallon more than his American forum friends?"
