how truthful are you
i allways considerd my self truthful
but before i came out i lied to my self
and others i even would sleep around
just to prove my so called manhood
now i allways quest to be honest with my self
if your not true to your self you can't be true to others

honesty - the better strategy on far sight. I have made good experience with it.

I always try to be honest and speak the way that;I feel about things. Some people might not agree with my feelings;and I might not agree with theirs. That's what makes the world go around and
it doesn't make anyone wrong.I would rather that; I and they;
knew;where each other stood.That way you don't have;wrong
impressions. Irish

I agree with all of you ... honesty is the best approach to life. It's fun to have fun and to fantasize ... as long as you know that's what it is that you're having. :)

I guess I could say it's been a long, hard journey for me in that area. for a while, i wasn't truthful with others, or worse, myself. i just chalked things up to "experience" it took a lot of insight to realize my actions sometimes hurt others, and always hurt myself in the end -- if i would just face them. I could never bring myself to admit to my ex-boyfriend that I cheated on him, because it took me so long just to even face the truth myself, that i was unfaithful. i hope someday, i'll come to a place where i will be able to admit it -- it will be a burden lifted i've carried for years.

What they don't know WILL hurt them -- because in some way, it changes you, and will change everything forever.

I consider my honest about the big things but i admit i have lied to myself and others when i thought that the truth might not be the best policy at that precise moment.

I HAVE to live a lie where my employers are concerned!
The Sisters have no idea about what I do in my personal life.
This has made me more open and honest in other areas of my life.

Some things are worth hiding like at the workplace, but all honesty is the best policy when talking to friends, mates etc. I wouldnt want my partner lying to me all the time, but even then, there's things that should be kept to yourself.

I was a mess as a teenager and in my twenties. I lived a life of lies to cover up deficiencies real and imagined. I got the help I needed and since then have been truthful but that causes its own problems at times. Still I am now comfortable and able to live a life where I like myself.

I try to be as truthful as possible. I find if you are dishonest you get caught out in the long run.

I do what is necessary... lie to save someone's feelings, or to get out of a jam, but I am honest as far as who I am and how I feel.

i couldn't lie straight in bed :D

seriously though, i was brought up to always tell the truth and i try to follow that, but sometimes it's just better if i fudge a little :p

I am a truthful person. I have told a few lies in my time, but they were to protect someones feelings or to keep my parents from knowing things they wouldn't approve of.I have had some close friends that turned out to be constant liars so I slowly cooled the friendship.I think truth and trust are a vaulable asset in any relationship and if it's not there neither am I.

Don't have the memory to be a good liar.

Simple self-preservation.
