While I know its not the best for me..I've almost always got a coke in hand..after my usual AM cups of coffee.
My favorite drink is a Blue Motorcyle. Which is 7-up mixed with equal parts of Blue Curaco, Whiskey Sour and Gin. The best thing to do is to make up a batch and leave in the fridge prior to the festivities.
I don't get to do this however because one time I did and within a half hour of making it one of my step daughters asked if they could have a glass of "blue kool-aid" . Fortunatly she didnt help herself.
Now I find myself with a 7&7 or gin and squirt, though a crown and 7 is also welcome at anytime.

I too am a COKE head. I am a big coffee fan too. I guess caffiene is my drug of choice. I love Kahlua (sp?). Frozen mudslides are my fav. My friends built a tiki bar in the back of their house and we just chill out and drink Mudslides and Margaritas on the weekends. Is it Friday yet?....... Tootles!

I like most things that contain alcohol! That is why I don't partake
of it anymore. While I never felt that I"NEEDED"a drink,I used it
24hrs. a day.Now;I;drink;alot;of Diet Dr.Pepper(DR.Thunder-Wal*
Marts brand.Dr.Rocket-K-Marts brand-both diet)and Diet Mountain
Dew. Irish
P.S.It's amazing;how much;of a tolerence that you build up; to
alcohol;when using it for years.I used to drink all day and never
show effects.

Coke is by FAR my favorite drink of all. I cannot drink anything diet. I also love Mt. Dew or Sun Drop and as for adult beverages: I LOVE sex on the beach and electric lemonade. I'll drink beer, but only if it's Coors Light or Bud Light

Mt.Dew is my favorite and for alcoholic drink usually beer can't handle the stronger drinks too much of a lightweight.

I am a faithfull Pepsi drinker! :D
I also enjoy a good Tim Horton's Coffee...Mmmmmm...black of course!
As for booze....I am not much of a beer drinker...but on a hot summers day it's great!:D
If I am going on a drunk...then it's double rye and pepsi's....
if I want it to be a doozy of a drunk...then I add tequilla shots...lick the salt, drink the shot, suck the lemon....YUMMMM....
But I do like my wine...usually have a bottle on hand...right now I am on a White Zinfadel kick....until something new to try pops up!;)
But being that I was a bartender for so many years...I enjoy just making up new drinks when we have company over.... :D :D

Diva- perhaps I can help. I have this thing that POPS UP whenever you come around.:p :D
When I was drinking… “bourbon old fashions, no garbage” worked for me. I could never remember the ceremony to drink tequila. Kept tossing my drink over my shoulder instead of the spilt sault. :redghost: I quite 17 years ago. Remember when Wild Turkey stock dropped 32 points?:(
I’ll drink a real cold beer on a specially hot day (maybe a whole six pack a year).
Caffeine and nicotine being my two basic food groups now, lots and LOTS of COFFEE! :whiteghos :whiteghos :whiteghos :whiteghos

I'm one of the original Cokeaholics, here in the South Coke's slogan is "It's not just for breakfast anymore!" For something w/alcohol, I might add Ronrico dark to my coke, or have B&J original flavor. I have some homemade red wine that friends gave us, and I like to mix it w/Mountain Dew, make my own wine cooler!

kateyes---In response to your "diet" comment. Before;I;couldn't
stand anything diet.Now I am diabetic and drink diet so often;
that a regular soda tastes like diet ;used to;to me.I guess you
acquire a taste for "diet."
nutworld---I never heard of a "Blue Motorcycle."Do you ride it or
drink it?Green was ;always;known as a bad luck color for racing.
I;believe;that you make your own luck!I built&rode a motorcycle
that was green metalflake. My last bike was black imron with
green pinstriping.It said"Irish"on both sides;of the dished;tank!
Pantyfanatic---I used to love"Wild Turkey."It was too expensive
for me to buy but when I took; a job;where I ended up working
at the Burlington VT airport;a stripper;at the fancy establishment
that I hung out at;used to send me over shots of"Wild Turkey"
all of the time. She worked for the place;so;they; probably;didn't
cost her much! Irish
P.S.The 15th was 9 1/2yrs. since I stopped alcohol!

I'd rather drink water than any other drink, alcoholic or otherwise.
But if I'm having alcohol, I like Blanc de Noirs Champagne, Melon Vodka or Baileys. Oh and I don't say no to a nice Rioja either.

Lemonade or a caffeine free cola of some kind. Sometimes Sunkist orange.
If I'm hitting the booze I will just go for a beer usually. Mixed drink would be gin & tonic. A bit of single malt scotch probably wouldn't get me to say "no" either.

Spoken like a true Scot, sir!
We had a Scottish friend lodge with us for a while - I was ASTOUNDED by the amount of irn bru she drank - and the fact that she called it 'juice'!

I just did a search on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irn-Bru
Sounds interesting. Does it taste comparable to anything I might know?
