One town in Kansas made the list and I wouldn't live there if you paid me. I like my little Kansas town, 20 miles from Lawrence, 50 miles from KCKS, and only 20 miles from the KC Metro area.

Median housing cost is probably under $200,000 and any house that cost you that much here would be a damned nice house. They just started a new housing division here with houses starting at $140k

We are moving back to the #1 city after living a year in Alaska. I love Middleton because it's not directly in Madison, yet it's just a quick zip and you're there. There are great restaurants, small shops, and lots of green space. People are nice and the town is well cared for. If anyone wants more details, I can definitely fill you in!

If I were to move again, I could easily see myself ending up in town #39, Urbandale, Iowa. Lots of great neighborhoods. I'll be there this weekend if all goes as planned who knows, maybe I'll just stay. :D

#87 is so close to me I could spit on it on a good windy day!

It's one of those towns that you shouldn't blink while riding through. You'll miss it.

#43 Jenks,Ok. a suburb of Tulsa its ok lots of overpriced antique stores,a contender for state every year in high school sports. The school system is in the top 10 in the state for education.Home prices are higher than where I live about 90 miles away.

#67 Liberty, Mo.the home of Jesse James now a state park there lots of older homes to restore if you like doing that close to KC that has a lot to do there. A better choice would be ST. Joseph a little farther north a beautiful old town with lots of Victorian homes, lived around that area for about 9 yrs

Oddly enough, I know exactly where a number of those towns are... and one of the places I'm considering moving to in the next year is also on the list.

Ironic how I live in one of the top ten places in the state but the CT towns on this list are all less ranked.

I knew it! I bring the value down! :(

Lots of nice towns on that list, but I will keep my little college town that has made me so happy the last 15 months.

I've decided to stay here, for now.
Lot's of complicated reasons, but this place and I sort of fit well together.

Moving?

I suppose I'd better before I become attached to this chair.
