Just to let you know ... got a postcard from IowaMan yesterday and he's doing well.

Postcard was from Disneyland. It showed the Swashbucklers of the Spanish Main exhibit. He said they didn't let him put in a bid for a wench to be his bride ... but ... that didn't seem to drop his spirits much. :D

From IowaMan to everyone he said, "Guten Tag!" That might have been German for "Good Day" or it might have meant "Good Grog." After all he was in the pirates den. :)

I got a postcard today, mine is from New Orleans Square, The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. He was wishing the lady ghost from the ride would have felt him up. :D

He arrived! We went to see an Oakland A's /Seattle Mariner's game this evening where the A's got tromped. Now we're warming up - IowaMan got introduced to the freezing summer that is San Francisco.

We're having a great time - and I'm sure he'd say hello if he weren't sleeping. :D

Of course you did. This is so stereotypically IM.

I believe it was Mark Twain that said, "The coldest winter I ever experienced was one summer in San Francisco"...

Exactly, Scotz.

I dropped him off at the airport at 6 am this morning - he is back in LA spending his last day with his parents. :)

He may be a little sleepy, though...we hauled him out until 1 am with a City tour and a late night Thai food binge. ;)

Yeah, I still haven't caught up on my sleep and you know what, I'd give anything to go on another of those late night Thai food binges. Then again, I'd like to repeat nearly the whole visit.
