It's still in the outer pocket of your carry-on bag.

If I were your passport, where would I be hiding...?

Hmmmm......

I can think of one place I'd like to hide, but I think you would've noticed if your passport was down there... ;)

Perhaps the inside pocket of a jacket you wore? Maybe a sportscoat or suit jacket? Perhaps you accidentally put it in a book you were reading on your last trip?

And ReaperWoman....... behave! The man is trying to concentrate and find his passport. :p

Last time we lost ours, they turned up in the pocket of our video camera case. Fussy had used it as his hand luggage.....

Look under your desk blotter...that's where mine was put after a trip.

About a month before I was heading overseas the thought occured to me that I should put my hands on my passport. It should be in the firebox so I'll check later in the week. A day or so later I moved my blotter and the pp as there. If I hadn't moved the blotter, and I rarely do, I would have torn the house apart looking for it. Now, as soon as I get home it goes back in the fireproof box.

It's in with all the junk mail you had to sort thru after you got back the last time. :D

In Spain.

...It took a trip because it was feeling unappreciated. :spin:

It was hidden by the same gnomes that hide the car keys.

Stolen by some drug-smuggling terrorist illegally crossing the border, no doubt!

Not to worry. Like the insurance and reality industries, they are fat and happy now that they have managed LAWS to keep them busy ripping us off. :hump:

Well passport is now safe and sound! The already safe place i normally always leave it wasn't safe enuff for my mum and she moved it and hid it with out telling me, so i spent weeks pulling the house apart only for my mum to have it put it with my birth certifcate and that kinda stuff!
