Being someone who loves to try new things (especially beauty products), for the first time today I tried those pore-cleansing strips for your nose, despite the fact they've been on the market now for a couple of years, but I hadn't heard how they worked...so I thought I'd give them a whirl. $3 something for a box of sticky things that do nothing! I'm hoping it just means I have really clean pores :p

But in the past, I've had my heart broken when I've bought or received things as gifts that just don't work the way they are supposed to. :(

Just curious as to what you've bought/received in the present or past that has been a major disappointment, whether it be in product performance or whatever else may have ticked ya off.

me, my sister, and my dad had a contest one day to see who could get the most stuff of thier nose with those, my dad won.

it seemed to work for us. (and i was my face everyday using suave shampoo cuz it gets rid of grease and grime-it cured me of my adolescent pimples)

Yeah, I bought those about 3 months ago, (first cleanser thingy I ever used) and I think they are great! I mean I have never used skin cream, oil, etc etc on a regular bases before, but i noticed the difference with the oxypads right away. And now that i use them every morning that I have no dirt spots for a few days in a row.

(I work in a warehouse that is dusty too)

The one thing that i belive that does not work, razor blades that advertise that you don't have to shave for longer, better shave's etc.

I think that Gillette disposables are the best. They are a good clean shave and it doesn't cost a fortune, and they do a good a job as any other thing. (only exception is maybe the Mach 3, also from Gillette) I noticed i am starting to use that on special occations.
